[Project Related] Showcasing our WIP

Today we were to present our WIP Moustache Helmet animation, we were in a room where me, Anthony and Will were the only animation students, the rest were film students. I would have liked to see the process of my fellow course mates however it was only our group that turned up. We watched most of the film courses videos which were still WIP as was ours, soon our video was being presented:

The animation is near completion, there are a few things still to do, though my parts are minor (Changes to backgrounds and adding more background objects), the main thing that has become a problem is the sound track. I am sure if you read either Anthony's or Will's blog you will find out we are having issues with the sound guy, he sent the following email to Will:

Hey.

Yeah Im a bit all over the place atm with regards to work/projects/etc to try and fit it all in - im sure you know how it is - just having one project focus is hard enough without a few intertwining , which is the case at the mo + trying to earn the money.

I will see what I can do asap

 Time is running short and we can't wait much longer, however we came to the solution that we would find a new sound guy if this one doesn't produce the song on time or if at all. At the end of the presentation a man came forward to us a website with around 20 sound guys willing to make a soundtrack for us which we have chosen to hunt through and find someone.

Soundtrack aside, the animation is coming along smoothly, we are all meeting up at the end of the week for a meeting to discuss what we need to do to finish the project up and what changes, minor or major we need to do.

[Commission] Crusader's Backgrounds

Christmas is over, and I have postponed writing in the blog for a while so I have a lot to update. The first thing on the agenda is that I am now working with Anthony Price on a project he has started called "Crusaders". Here are some examples of the backgrounds I have made for him:

Since the start of university I have worked with Anthony on many projects, from the Kangaroo Project to Party Quest and so on. Recently I have been working with him on a project called Solrac Ventures which I am doing backgrounds in the same style as I am creating for Anthony now. We work well together and I have no doubt that we'll be working together on other projects in the near future.
