[Drawing Lesson] 08/11/12 - Speed Drawing

Today we continued drawing with our life model Steve, however during this lesson we tried something different. During the first few minutes of the lesson we drew the outline of the model, we had 1 minute to draw the outline of him, below are the drawings:


I didn't really like half of the drawings at all, they were very un-proportioned and didn't look human. After making alot of mistakes I stopped caring about what happened in the drawings and, started rushing the drawings. Soon after we were told to draw very quickly and roughly, mostly shadow drawing. We were told to draw them incredibly fast, starting at 1 minute. Below are the drawings:

1 second:

As you can see, it got a bit ridiculous towards the end, but it was a fun lesson none the less! After lesson we drew in chalk after having 10 minutes of lesson remaining, we drew the back of the model as we never really draw the back that often, here is how that turned out:
